Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) for Weight Loss
Please be patient with us as this injection is not available for GP’s to prescribe for weight loss at present. There is a strict criteria set by the Authorities for this initial rollout, and these are as follows:
- Diabetic Patients
- Anyone with 4 weight related co morbidities
- Anyone with a BMI of 40 or more.
At present this treatment is being managed by specialist weight management services and not in general practice.
Please note this is just the beginning and as more rollout phase are authorised and our GP contracts are updated, we will keep patients inform, regarding access to this through your GP.
